Fox and Friends Roundup 9/18/12
Good morning! Another day, another round up of my favorite farcical show.
Today was a hard one for The Dooce, Gretch and @kilmeade. The Mitt Romney tapes had been revealed – with Romney claiming he didn’t give a damn about the 47% of America that was basically unemployed and not going to vote for him anyway. But as, Romney did, the @foxandfriends team did what they do best – Double downed!
But first up – saying the #Libya attack was a full blown, 9/11 sque terrorist attack on American soil that could’ve been prevented if Obama was… well, a Republican

Tweet: Brit Hume now saying “blaming the (anti Islam) movie doesnt compute.” The Dooce smugly excited that this is “first terror attack since 9/11!”
It does seem odd that the Dooce was oddly excited abut a terrorist attack… in fact they all were. Cut to scenes of muslim men rioting somewhere and @kilmeade tells this little nugget:

@kilmeade then goes on to extol the fabulosity that some dude died after lighting the flag on fire – and basically, light American flag = you deserve to die! Gretch had decency to look a tad bit uncomfy. I think she’s still smarting form yesterday’s punking.
While @kilmeade thought the #romney tape should be used on his campaign, Gretch disagreed and pointed out it was a “bad idea.” The Dooce agreed with @kilmeade – who reminds me of that carton with the big dog being followed by his tiny yapping entourage dog member. The Dooce is clearly the big dog here.

Guests included: Allen West! Laura Ingraham – she of the never ending fount of anger – Donald “Rummy” Rumsfeld, Mark Burnetts ex-wife (she has some book on her divorce despite claiming she’s taken the high road), country dudes Big & Rich (they are indeed, both big and rich) and a pastor named Max who is holding a 40 day prayer campaign with the logo: USA! (I think he’s in the bag for Romney), ex-CIA dude who wrote abook hates Obama and says hes lying.
Kilmeade, despite LOVING the Romney vid is still mad it as made.

More video of Netanyahu and talk of how Obama hates him, before going to clip f US Navy dudes doing Gangnam dance. @kilmeade confused. He doesn’t know what it is. They try and get anyone to do Gangnam dance, one crew member does it half heartedly.

Sadly, my dream was unrealized. The Curvy Couch tried to talk Gangnam with Laura Ingraham, who wasn’t having it

Laura thinks the Romney video was a “good thing” and that he was “just talking” – but cant believe everyone is “Spending so much time on that!” – Irony alert! They switch to the Obama “You Didn’t Build That” MC hammer mash up. For like the 15th time.
Roger Ailes lawyer Peter Johnson is up next – no questions, he just reads what seems like a long ass oped he wrote after several whiskeys – same shizz: Obama bad, America in trouble, Romney being short changed by Mainstream media – eding with

Then on to Rumsfeld – who ironically goes after Obama on what he thinks was a lousy exit from Iraq – despite Rummy being the lousy architect of not only getting into Iraq but the immediate crappy aftermath as HE HAD NO PLAN. He is allowed to say whatever he wants and at this point Im starting to fade.
Talking points of the day included:
· Obama via Susan Rice is lying to us - #Libya was a terror attack, he just doesn’t want us to now that before the election
· Mitt Romney tape – NO BIG DEAL!
· The White House hates Israel
· Iran has nukes, the White House lying about that or being incredibly naive
· Gangnam is all the next cool craze
